On April 25, Dr. John Niedzwiecki’s Animal Behavior students presented their Zoo-based research projects to the Nashville Zoo staff and patrons. In this project, students are paired with a Nashville Zoo zookeeper and an animal species on display. Over the semester they develop and test a research question about the behavior of their animals. This year, students studied everything from ostriches to turtles.
