Massey MBA Graduates and Senior Business Students Achieve Top Ranking on National Exams

The Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business announced today that its graduating MBA students for Summer 2007 have performed in the top 20 percent on a nationally-administered exit exam. Produced by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) of Princeton, N.J., at last measurement the exam was given to more than 5,000 students at 131 graduate business programs across the U.S.


Meanwhile, Belmont’s College of Business Administration announced that many of its graduating seniors scored at or above the top 10 percent level on the Major Field Test in Business, an ETS exam administered to almost 9,000 students at 181 undergraduate business programs across the U.S.
“This provides strong evidence that The Massey School is delivering on its commitment to students and employers of offering an excellent part-time evening MBA program,” said Joe Alexander, associate dean of The Massey School. “Their performance is a direct reflection of our focus on delivering a high-quality program for working professionals and the individual attention our students receive from our highly-qualified faculty.”
Susan Taylor, associate dean of the College of Business Administration, echoed his remarks when speaking on behalf of the undergraduate program, noting, “Many of our students are now demonstrating that they can score very well when compared to their peers at other U.S. business schools.”
Graduating MBA students from the Summer 2007 class who scored in the Top 10 percent or higher nationally include: James Sherman (Nashville), Daniel Richmond (Fresno, CA), and Baljit Baidwan (Chandigarh, Punjab/India).
