Dr. Matthew Heard, assistant professor of biology, recently had a research article accepted for publication in the Frontiers of Biogeography Journal, the scientific journal of the International Biogeography Society. The article is entitled “Disease biogeography: spatial and temporal analyses of infectious disease burden at the country-level scale provides new insights and challenges.”
