Belmont University is inviting alumni along with current students, new students and parents of students living in the Memphis area and in the Nashville suburbs of Williamson County to attend one of two Summer Send-Off Celebrations in early August. The events will give alumni, students and parents a chance to meet Belmont University President Dr. Robert Fisher and other campus leaders, learn about current developments on campus, enjoy food and entertainment and meet other students, parents and alumni from their area.
The Memphis Send-Off Celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, from 7-9 p.m., at The Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis. Tickets are free, but students and parents must RSVP by calling 615-460-6963, and alumni by calling 1-800-405-0932. You can also RSVP by email to ElderT@mail.belmont.edu.
The Williamson County event is scheduled for Thursday, August 11, from 7-9 p.m., at Jamison Hall in The Factory at Franklin. Tickets are free, but students and parents must RSVP by calling 615-460-6963, and alumni by calling 615-460-6723. You can also RSVP by email to ElderT@mail.belmont.edu.
Belmont has plans to expand the program to other cities in and outside of Tennessee where the university has a strong alumni presence or student-recruiting success in future years.
