“Johnny Cash and C.S. Lewis” is the title of a chapter by Don Cusic in the anthology Literary Cash, published this month by BenBella. The anthology is a collection of non-fiction articles as well as fiction inspired by Johnny Cash.
“The connection between Cash and C.S. Lewis comes through their faith – the Christianity,” Cusic said. “Although in many ways they were world’s apart – a country singer and a British scholar – they shared a deep, abiding faith that was a source of their strength.”
Cusic is also the author of Johnny Cash: The Songs, a collection of the singer’s lyrics.
