Dr. David Curtis, Chair and Professor of English, has published “Benjamin Franklin and the Sea” on Oxford University Press’s blog. Curtis is the author of the Oxford Bibliographies in American Literature “Benjamin Franklin” article and was invited to contribute the piece to mark the 311th anniversary of Franklin’s birth.
