Associate Professor of Accounting and Information Systems Dr. Delwyn DeVries was recently appointed to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) subcommittee, a national subcommittee responsible for content associated with the business environment and concepts section of the Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) exam.
The group provides guidance in the determination of BEC exam question composition and evaluates the technical accuracy of items. The BEC subcommittee is composed of 10 individuals from CPA firms, businesses and academic backgrounds.
