Cross Country/Track and Field Athletes Earn ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Honors

Three Belmont men’s cross country and track and field athletes were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team. Senior Caleb Swartz (Radcliff, Ky.), junior Kip Hill (Liberty, Mo.), and sophomore Will Peters (Carmel, Ind.) each received the first nod of their respective careers. This is the most ever selected from the men’s cross country and track and field teams in a single academic year. Click here for more on this story.
In addition, senior women’s cross country and track runner Mollie Schlarman (Southgate, Ky.) was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) this week. It is the first time in her career she has received the honor and the fourth time a Belmont women’s cross country/track and field athlete has been named to the elite list.
