Belmont alumna Crystal Moles has been recognized by OneAmerica® as an ASPIRE honoree as a result of her outstanding service on behalf of the life insurance, retirement and employee benefits organization. Entering her 13th year at the company, Moles, senior transition manager, Retirement Services, was one of 10 employees honored at the company’s sixth annual ASPIRE awards banquet on Feb. 19. Moles was recognized for Excellence in Partnership.
“At the highest level, Crystal represents the culture of personal relationships and service that sets OneAmerica apart,” said Scott Davison, chairman, president and CEO of OneAmerica. “Crystal demonstrates what it looks like when empowered, accountable people work together to do the right thing for our customers, distribution partners and colleagues.”
The ASPIRE principles — Achievement, Stewardship, Partnership, Integrity, Responsiveness and Excellence — guide more than 2,200 OneAmerica associates in all work endeavors. This year, 203 individuals were nominated by peers, supervisors or project partners for the annual honor.
Nominators said Moles creates effective partnerships at every step of bringing a new retirement plan on board, from point of sale, to onboarding new participants, to relationship management. They said she’s a top achiever who maintains great relationships with peers, and who treats customers like family, anticipates customers’ needs and speaks up about improving things and embraces change.
“What works best is consistency,” said Moles. “For many customers, our department is the first experience they have with OneAmerica after the sale has been made, so I take that responsibility seriously to get it right. Availability and responsiveness are key, and while some like an email and some prefer a phone call, the objective is the same – to communicate.”
