Smith’s Chapter Receives Positive Review from the Scotsman

Clancy Smith, adjunct professor in the philosophy department, received a positive review in the Scotsman newspaper by lifestyle and culture critic Lee Randall for Smith’s chapter in the edited volume Tattoos and Philosophy: I Ink, Therefore I Am from Wiley-Blackwell’s “Pop Culture and Philosophy” series.  Smith’s chapter investigates the relationship between the permanence of tattoos and the protean nature of memory from a philosophical perspective.
