SIFE Students Collect Canned Goods at CABLE Meeting

As part of its recently launched “Let’s Can Hunger” food drive, the Belmont University SIFE Team partnered with CABLE Nashville’s Civic Outreach committee to collect more than 200 canned goods at a CABLE meeting this week. CABLE is Tennessee’s largest and most established network of diverse professionals committed to connecting women and opportunity. In another Belmont connection, the guest speaker for the meeting was Belmont alumna Melinda Doolittle.
Belmont SIFE students have a goal of collecting 5,000 pounds of canned food, which will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank and the Edgehill Center.
