Rafferty, Turner Pass Specialist Exam

RaffertyJ.jpgTurnerC.jpgDrs. Julie Rafferty (left) and Cathy Turner (right), assistant professors in the School of Pharmacy, have received notice that they have passed their Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) examination.
The Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) is an autonomous Division of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), which was founded in January 1976 to recognize specialties and to certify pharmacists in specialized areas of pharmacy practice. Five specialties are currently recognized by BCPS. Fewer than three percent of pharmacists in the U.S. are certified specialists.
