Inman Center at Belmont University Featured on The AT&T Real White Pages

DSCF1414.jpgThe state-of-the-art home of The Gordon E. Inman College of Health Sciences & Nursing at Belmont University is featured on the 2007 edition of The AT&T Real White Pages. The Gordon E. Inman Center opened in June 2006 and is a vital new presence in Nashville’s health care community. More than 568,000 copies of the directory will be delivered to area homes and businesses beginning this month. The new edition was unveiled Fri., January 12, in the Inman Center at Belmont.
“We are proud to have Belmont University represented on the 2007-2008 edition of The Real White Pages,” said Marty Dickens, President of ATT-Tennessee. “It is an excellent opportunity to showcase the various educational opportunities the Nashville area has to offer.”
The Inman Center houses the health sciences programs at Belmont, including nursing, occupational therapy and social work. Phase two of the facility will include the physical therapy program. Gordon E. Inman, a successful Tennessee business leader, donated $10.5 million to the project -the largest single donor gift at Belmont – and HCA’s TriStar Health System contributed $7.5 million. Belmont has also joined with three area colleges and universities – Volunteer State Community College, Trevecca Nazarene University and Nashville State Technical Community College – in the Partners in Nursing consortium. Through the consortium, students at these area schools will divide their time between their respective schools and Belmont where they will complete their nursing education.
“We are thrilled the Inman Center is featured on the cover of The AT&T Real White Pages,” Belmont President Dr. Bob Fisher said. “Belmont and our partners at other area schools are making a real difference in Nashville’s health care community by training future nurses in the Inman Center to combat the critical nursing shortage facing Tennessee. It is an honor to have AT&T recognize both the beauty and the importance of the Inman Center.”
In addition to area business and residential listings, The AT&T Real White Pages includes local, state and federal government listings, as well as emergency and 911 guides. The Greater Nashville edition of The Real White Pages also includes listings for Fairview, Franklin-Brentwood, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Old Hickory, Triune-Arrington, LaVergne, Mt. Juliet and Nolensville, Tennessee.
