Cheryl Carr, associate dean of the Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business, has been selected for the Board of Directors for Creatives’ Day, a nonprofit support organization for creatives in Tennessee that provides community and economic support to artists, poets, storytellers, makers and musicians living and working in Nashville and surrounding counties. The organization’s partners include the Tennessee Arts Commission and the Mayor’s Office of Housing. Prior to her selection to the Board of Directors, Carr served on the Creatives’ Day Board of Advisors.
